The Galaxy Z Fold 6 has become the talk of the town and for all the reasons as the phone is going to go official in little over two months. So far, we have heard a lot of interesting details about Samsung's latest and greatest foldable flagship and the information that we have on our hands today reveals that Samsung's upcoming foldable will have a redesigned cover display, but don't expect a lot of change this time around.
The Galaxy Z Fold 6's cover display is finally going to be a little wider but not as wide as some would have hoped
We do know that the Galaxy Z Fold 6 is going to borrow some design elements from the Galaxy S24 Ultra in terms of design. There have been rumors in the past about how the latest foldable is going to bring a flatter and sharper design language with a wider cover display, and based on the case render we saw yesterday, that appears to be the case. Now, tempered glass screen protectors of the foldable have shown up on the internet, confirming the changes that Samsung has made.

As you can see in the video shared by Ice Universe, the Galaxy Z Fold 6's external display is going to be slightly wider while maintaining a similar height as its predecessor. Now, this is not the aspect ratio I was expecting because I wanted something that is akin to what we have on the Galaxy S24 Ultra, but Samsung has decided to choose an aspect ratio that sits between the S24 Ultra and the Z Fold 5, which should not be an issue for many people.
Honestly, this is not the change that I wanted from Samsung but at this point, the Galaxy Z Fold 6 is more than final, and I am pretty sure that there are production units already in the hands of some individuals. With that said, I am still looking forward to see what the foldable flagship is going to offer in terms of the upgrades and the changes that Samsung has made to the device. I am not expecting more than some minor changes here but hey, it does not hurt to be optimistic.
The Galaxy Z Fold 6, along with a lot of other devices are going official on July 10th, just a little over two months and I am looking forward to see what this Galaxy Unpacked has in store for us, especially when you are considering that Galaxy Ring is also going to make a debut this time around.
